    Extremely upset with western storage , I have a container that had been broken into , also I am aware of many others that did also . Western storage were aware for WELL over a week, yet did not inform anyone via Email or phone about units being unsecured as locks were cut off! The only email I have received is my monthly rent is due. Still no courtesy email for clients to check their containers. This has been extremely upsetting as I can not replace items stolen . Was not offered any compensation any any way or form. I strongly suggest researching what you need to know before renting a storage unit / also containers long term. Particularly long term rental in containers as condensation can definitely be a issue, I suggest you research -protecting against mildew and mould in self storage . This also was an issue with the first container that was old and on the ground , was not aware mould could be a issue with long term storage until it was too late. I apologise for the rant but I would prefer someone had shared advise with me prior to renting .
